The Angels in America: Millennium Approaches — Off-Broadway revival of Tony Kushner’s Angels in America has extended again, adding five weeks of extra performances through March 27, 2011. Five original cast members will now depart the show on January 30, with Michael Urie (Ugly Betty), Adam Driver and Lynne McCollough joining the production for the final two months.

Angels in America: Millennium Approaches — Off-Broadway is Starting February 2, Urie will replace Christian Borle in the role of Prior Walter, Adam Driver will replace Zachary Quinto as Louis Ironson and Lynne McCollough will replace Robin Weigert as Hannah Pitt. Robin Bartlett and Zoe Kazan will also end their runs with the show at that time, although their replacements have not yet been named. Billy Porter, Bill Heck and Frank Wood will continue with the show through the end of the engagement.

Angels in America: Millennium Approaches — Off-Broadway Signature’s revival of the two-play Angels in America is part of the theater’s 20th anniversary series celebrating the works of Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winner Kushner. Also on tap are the New York premiere of The Intelligent Homosexual’s Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures (a co-production with the Public Theater, also directed by Michael Greif) and Kushner’s adaptation of Pierre Corneille’s The Illusion Angels in America: Millennium Approaches — Off-Broadway is (directed by Michael Mayer).
